Description

Aim: To challenge our own perceptions and understanding of the wider world and to suggest ways of including multicultural aspects in regular topic work rather than adding it on occasionally through festivals.
To look at resources for loan which address multiculturalism, citizenship, international, sustainable development, eco schools and anti-racism. All support a Curriculum for Excellence.

 

Content: To provide lots of transferrable acivities for nursery age children to do which bring a global dimension into any topic - food, water, toys, homes and to address the 4 capacities of A Curriculum for Excellence.
To use photographs to encourage talking, active listening, self-esteem and cooperation.

 

Notes: This course will be delivered in your Nursery after school or as part of a school closure day.
It can be one or two hours long.
